Having the knowledge of what to do and knowing what to expect from law enforcement during an active shooter incident is crucial when preparing and planning critical incident procedures. This session will inform registrants how response has improved since the Columbine incident as well as how response has progressed by building relationships with local police and working together. Included in this session will be a discussion on School Resource Officers. The SRO has become a key element when planning and preparing. This session will look at how the SRO has evolved and provide insight on duties and expectations.
